Energy Transmission is the third level of EnergyBus and can only happen if hardware and software interfaces are both given.

In case there is a problem in step two, no money will be released.

In case of successful negotiation in step two, which means that there is no problem with the components involved working together, the next step is energy transmission. This means, that energy is transmitted. The result is forward motion of the vehicle.

If, in the second step, the negotiation detects a problem energy transmission will not happen. Such a problem could be that battery and charger are designed for different voltages, The blocking of energy transmission in this case can prevent the battery from being destroyed. Here, EnergyBus serves as an important safety device. Without such a communication standard the charger can easily destroy the battery if the two components operate on different voltages of if the charger is not made for certain battery chemistries.
