2016-06-30 (Angela Budde)

On 5th July 2016, the Working Group of CAN in Automation e.V. and EnergyBus e.V. will have a vote appointment to which all parties are invited who develop or already produce EnergyBus components. The meeting is a web conference.

Invitation: Conformance Test

For a perfect interaction of different EnergyBus components from different manufacturers, it is necessary to test and confirm the interoperability between the components offered, for example chargers and batteries.

Invitation
Next week, the Working Group of CAN in Automation e.V. and EnergyBus e.V. will have a vote appointment to which all parties are invited who develop or already produce EnergyBus components. The meeting is a web conference on:

5 July 2016 at 4 p.m

Please send an email, including the information, on which EnergyBus components you are working, to:

>> Hannes.Neupert@EnergyBus.org

You will then receive the login information for the web conference.

Levels of conformity
The conformance test consists of 3 elements:

Certificate 1: Device communication test - Based on CANopne conformance test from CiA and additional tests according to CiA 454

Certificate 2: Device hardware test - Check for correct hardware properties

Certificate 3: Interoperability test - Check interoperability with other devices

Certificate 1 will be proofed by emtas GmbH, on behalf of EnergyBus GmbH.

Certificate 2 is not yet specified, here proposals from developers and manufacturers are expected for discussion in the Working Groups.

Certificate 3 for interoperability is developed by the Mathematical Institute of the University of Saarbr├╝cken, who is an EnergyBus member.

For this, tests and a meeting in Saarbr├╝cken are planned in July 2016.

Interested parties who want to bring their hardware in the form of series products or prototypes are pleased to attend the web conferenende on Tuesday to discuss the next steps.
